The NEW MK-V V3 NEXUS System

Welcome to the future of camera stabilization.

Imagine a base system that was totally configurable to the changing needs of any professional operator or situation.

Imagine a system that allowed total adaptability and modular connectivity for even the most arduous professional shoot.

We did.

Then we tested it professionally in the field, and now we’re offering it to you…

This is the MK-V flagship system and was specifically designed for working with the MK-V AR system.

The Nexus base system (patent pending) is more Film & Digital orientated - with numerous battery combination’s and set ups. Combined with the New V3+ D-Box system you have SD and HD-SDI monitor outputs, AR control and recorder in/out.

Used with the V2″ Advanced Gimbal and MK-V 2″ 4 stage post - this system combines total flexibility with tremendous stability.

The V2 and the New V3 Nexus base can now be inverted over the sides of the D-Box. This will give you the most compact version of the Nexus where the sled ends at the bottom of the D-Box.

This makes the whole sled even with the 2″ 4 stage Superpost shorter than a PRO 2 sled.

The V2 Base is Invertible - therefore the bottom of the sled is just under the D-Box.

The New V3 Nexus Base can now also mount sideways, which gives better battery clearance and also keeps all the batteries in line.

Vests

There are basically 2 types of vests - front mounted and back mounted.

Both have their place. There is a lot of talk about which is best etc. But at the end of the day it is up to you.

A vest is a very personal item as you will be in it all day. All I can say is I personally use the Klassen and I love it, I used front mount for 15 years.

But for dry hire and rental, the front mount is more useful.

MK-V can supply any vest front or back mounted.

The Luna Arm

The Luna arm is basically a new style 3a arm made by Robert Luna.

This new arm has a range from 15lbs to 70lbs.

The Top of Post (In Line) J-Box

The Standard J-Box has: 4 x 12v/24v outputs, 2 x 12v and Video, 1 x BNC, and D-Box input.

MK-V J-Boxes (Junction Boxes)

The MK-V J-Box is the top of Post/topstage mounted state of the art electronics distribution box for power and video.

The MK-V J-Box mounts to the Standard or deluxe Topstage or Top of Post, and enables up the post cabling to the MK-V D-Boxes.

We now have 3 models of J-Box:

Lite, V2, the all-new V3 and PRO style.

All MK-V J-Boxes distribute clean 12v & 24v power and video through out the sled.

The Standard, V2 and V3 J-Boxes have the Standard 1.5″ 6/32 UNC mounting holes in. They also have the Focus mount to allow users to bolt any focus system to the J-Boxes.

MK-V Tools Free gimbal Upgrades For PRO, Mk3/3a and EFP

The MK-V J-Bracket is a standard tool for use with 5/8″ arm posts and gimbals.

MK-V make a range of Monitor mounts and accessories to allow you to mount any monitor to the MK-V system.
