Arm Servicing

MK-V offers a full service facility for any proffesional Steadicam™™™ Arm.

An arm service usually takes around 3 days, and a rebuild or up grade takes around 5 days. All bearings, cables and pins are replaced, also while the arm is apart we can also re anodise and repaint your arm to look as new as it feels.

MK-V recommends that you have your arm serviced at least once a year.

Servicing may be required sooner especially if the arm is used in sandy and dusty environments or after hard mounting to bumpy vehicles.

Arm Repairs

MK-V offer a full one stop service for all your arm repairs, depending on the damage and parts needed, MK-V can usally turn your arm around in a week or two (parts permiting).

MK-V can also advise you on the best way of maintaining your arm in the field...

Arm Upgrades

MK-V can up grade your arm with all new bearings, cables and pins. MK-V can also re-spring or upgrade your arm (CP Model 1,2 & 3/3a, and Master / Ultra) to heavier or lighter springs, this can be done at the time of servicing.
