In 1975, Garrett Brown, a Steadicam™ Operator, changed the way the
camera moved. Now in 2005, the MK-V AR changes
the way the entire rig and camera moves.
The MK-V
AR registered and patented design is an
all new camera stabilization system that gives you 360 degrees of
stunning possibilities. It automatically maintains a level horizon,
enabling you to go from extreme high mode to extreme low mode in
shot and in a second. The AR can also be rotated in-shot to create
a variety of new effects. It can stabilize at any angle, and can
be programmed to reset to any chosen horizon. User settable ramps
and speed, give full rotation control.
You can operate
with the sled at any angle across your body, making low mode noticeably
more comfortable, while the new monitor arm maintains the monitor
horizon and position in front of you for easy viewing.
And since you
no longer have to keep the sled vertical by your side, it can be
easily passed through car windows and over furniture etc. to allow
shots never before possible. Or you can wear the sled across your
body to minimize fatigue. Plus, it is a stand alone system and can
be used as a 3rd axis on a standard or remote head for any camera
application. You can also use the AR to lock to a rotating
set and with the wireless comms do moves around a revolving set
while the camera stays locked to the set.
The AR
works on or off traditional camera stabilizing systems (please email
for compatibility) and even as an independent hand held unit. The
fully modular design is made from the latest technology and materials,
to give total support, stabilization and rigidity.
Whatever your
project, The MK-V AR can produce the
perfect shot.
